This Privacy Policy describes how Buzzyears Education Pvt Ltd ("Skolaro", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use the Skolaro platform — including our websites, mobile apps, and related services.
We collect information you provide directly (when you sign up, fill in forms, or contact us), information about your use of the service (logs, device info, usage patterns), and information your institution provides about students, parents, and staff in the course of using Skolaro.
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Skolaro platform, to communicate with you about your account, to comply with legal obligations, and to detect and prevent fraud or security incidents. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We share information with: (a) authorised users within your institution as configured by your administrators; (b) service providers (cloud hosting, payment processing, communication delivery) bound by contractual confidentiality; (c) law enforcement when required by valid legal process.
Skolaro is hosted on ISO 27001-certified infrastructure. Data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). We perform daily backups, vulnerability scans, and annual penetration tests. Access to production data is restricted to a small team and audited.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by writing to privacy@skolaro.com. Some data may be retained as required by law or to maintain institutional records (e.g. transcripts).
Skolaro processes data about students under the direction of their educational institution, which acts as the data controller. Parents and guardians may exercise rights through their child institution.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Skolaro platform and via email to account administrators.
