Named after our former Prime Minister, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the human resource development (HRD) minister, Mr Prakash Javadekar on Thursday (30th Aug) launched Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements to boost the culture of innovation and research in higher education (ARRIA).
Speaking about the ARRIA at the inauguration of an innovation cell at All India Council of Technical Education he said that all educational institutions will be ranked for their innovation output based on certain global indicators and parameters. He also stated that it is a challenge to innovate and innovation in the only way to make our country prosper and that every institution should have an innovation cell.
